The School of Tai Chi Chuan teaches the 37-posture Yang Short Form as developed by Professor Cheng Man-Ch'ing. A round of the complete form can take anywhere from seven to 15 minutes to perform.
Students should wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes. Cotton-sole Tai Chi shoes are recommended footwear and can be bought at the school.

Our school teaches the form in stages. Each "stage" - Beginning Level, Fundamentals Level and Intermediate – teaches the 37-posture form from beginning to end. The main difference is in the awareness applied at each level.

Push Hands is also taught in stages by The School of Tai Chi Chuan. This is a Tai Chi partner exercise that helps students to further embody the principles of the Tai Chi form.

Each course follows completion of the previous one. Most courses last 3 terms, some 2

Follow to Curriculum Overview for more details on each stage.
